Mentor Portland would like to thank our amazing mentors for the hard work and the dedication they have given to their youth and the community at large. The tremendous power of mentoring is immeasurable. Our youth have been able to laugh louder while being themselves in a caring community of adults.  The relationships built through Mentor Portland have indeed changed lives.

Mentor Portland Goes to Camp!

Mentor Portland is off to its final camp in September. Thank you to our generous donors who helped make this happen. Camp has long been viewed as an ideal environment for learning and self-exploration. Camp is an opportunity for youth to step outside their comfort zone. Young people who take positive risks are less likely to take negative ones. For 2.5 days, mentors and youth get the opportunity to explore and develop their relationship in a beautiful camp setting while enjoying activities such as rock climbing, ropes course, camp fire, arts and crafts, and team building.
